The ASHBA resumed their annual meeting today with the sole purpose of announcing the results of the election for the two seats from the membership on the nominating committee for the board. There were more than 100 nominations made with Betsy Boone receiving the most votes at 303. Scott Hagan followed in second with 175. Read More
In the February 13th board of directors meeting, the directors voted unanimously to extend the deadline for nominations for the Bill Wise Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes to March 31st and to extend the buy-in deadline for the National Three-Year-Old Futurity to March 31st. This follows the December decision to extend the 2025 deadline for nominations from January 31 to March 31. Read More

The annual meeting of the American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association saw a substantial turnout of membership. More than half of the active, eligible members at the time of the vote let their voices be heard either in person or by proxy on two topics: a bylaw amendment proposal and the vote to elect two people to represent the membership on the nominating committee for the board of directors.
